Take my hand, we will get through it together.

When I was initially diagnosed; I was lucky to have several sources of support; but without a doubt, the support of those who came before, based on experience in my position, was the most invaluable. While I was in active treatment and after, some friends very dear to my heart were diagnosed as well as several acquaintances and some people who were introduced to me by a friend of a friend. Without even realizing it; I was now passing on the support given to me. It was instinctive. It dawned on me that the blessing cancer had given me was the ability to guide those who came after me.
